Once the order is placed, we’ll make an informal and friendly discovery phone call to get to know a little more about you and plan your recording.
There’s a short questionnaire and we’ll have a chat to discuss which topics and questions you’d like to include in your story.
We’ll confirm a date, time and place for your recording.
Your audio will be recorded in professional studio-quality in your own home or at our studio centre, and our professional interviewer will capture the moments that define the story you want to tell.
Using the planned questions, we’ll put you at ease to make sure that you’ll look back on it as an easy, relaxed and rewarding experience.
We allow 2 hours for the recording so no need to worry if you make a mistake or want to start again on something, all those bits will be edited out afterwards with the finished mix being around 40 to 60 minutes duration.
Your story will be mixed with occasional, carefully chosen, fitting music to create a beautiful, polished recording. You’ll be the star of your very own show!
There are no technical requirements on your part on day. All you need to do is talk, and we’ll make that really easy and relaxed using the pre-planned questions.
You’ll receive your story within 2 to 4 weeks from the date of recording (subject to availability) as an mp3 audio file for you to share with friends and family as you wish (and colleagues and clients if your story is about your business).
The file will play easily on most phones and computers.
You can also choose to have your story hosted on a secure password protected page on our website (or publicly available if you wish)
